Our small town is facing big questions about affordable housing, adapting to climate change, whether to build new schools, and more. We need people of all kinds of backgrounds to step forward and participate in these much-needed conversations. Too often, people are dissuaded from running for office because they lack the depth of financial resources and networks to be a viable candidate. Well-funded individuals and interest groups have set a new standard for local campaigns that make running for office feel out of reach for everyday Capers. With your help, we can level the playing field.
